So today I'm at my local record store perusing Vinyl's and CD's, and I hear this great soul song playing through the stores massive, gigantic speakers. Then another song and another. About the 4th song I walk up to the girl at the counter.
"Are the last few songs all from the same album." I ask.
"Yep. St. Paul & The Broken Bones."
She walks over and grabs me a copy. I get home and examine the case and notice a 2014 date.
"Hmmm, must be a reissue." I thought, believing it to 60's music.
I open the case and see a group of white guys.
"Motherfucker. She gave me the wrong damn album."
I put it in and breath a sigh of relief. Great album and music.

I simply couldn't believe the singer to be a chubby white guy until i saw the video.
Now it's a mission to see them live just so i know its legit.
Another great band from Muscle Shoals Alabama is The Drive By Truckers, And/Or Jason Isbell.
